JAMESTOWN – The Jamestown Tarp Skunks last week announced their COVID-19 guidelines for the upcoming baseball season based off New York State requirements.

The Tarp Skunks will have half the stadium reserved for vaccinated-only fans and the other half of the stadium for those not vaccinated. Vaccinated fans will be able to sit at 100% capacity in designated sections. Masks will be optional for fully vaccinated individuals while in common areas and in the seating area.

Individuals seated in a vaccinated section will need to show proof of full COVID-19 immunization apon entry,  in paper form or a digital application via the New York State Excelsior Pass.

For the unvaccinated sections, seating will be limited with social distancing and mask being required as well as in the common areas.  Fans may temporary remove mask while eating or drinking.

Children, regardless of vaccination status, will be allowed to sit with their guardians.

The Tarp Skunks home opener is on Thursday, June 10th at 7:00 PM, with a free pregame tailgate festival to begin at 5:00 PM.

Full schedule and more information  can be found at the Tarp Skunks website.

  1. So it’s ok to demand to see ID to go to a “local” baseball game…. but not to vote for who runs our country? Seems a little backwards.

    Papers Please?

  2. If your vaccinated, then you have no fear, correct? Why the separation?

1st ID, then we will be forced to wear armbands for clear representation.

Sounds familiar, some other group did this, the Nazi’s?
