Limestone Man Accused Of Breaking Into Cattaraugus County Residence

CARROLLTON, NY (WNY News Now) – A Limestone man is accused of breaking into a Cattaraugus County residence and allegedly threatening to harm the homeowner.

New York State Police arrested Xander Grover last Friday on charges of second-degree burglary, third degree criminal mischief and second-degree harassment.

The 19-year-old is accused of breaking into a home on Church Street in the Town of Carrollton, near the City of Salamanca.





Following an investigation by troopers, Grover was accused of forcing entry into the residence and making threats to harm the homeowner before fleeing.

Troopers were able to locate Grover nearby where he was placed under arrest and transported to the State Police Station in Olean for arrest processing.

Grover was arraigned in Allegany Town Court and subsequently released under supervision.





















He is scheduled to re-appear in Allegany Town Court at a later date.
