(WNY News Now) – An accident on Route 5/20 in the Town of Hanover on October 6, 2023, resulted from an improper right turn and lane change, with one person sustaining minor injuries.
Hanover – On October 6, 2023, at approximately 3:00 PM, Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to a reported two-vehicle accident near McDonald’s on Route 5/20. The collision caused minor injuries to one individual, who was subsequently transported to Brooks Memorial Hospital by Silver Creek EMS.
Upon investigation, authorities found that an 18-year-old male driver had made an improper right turn and changed lanes unsafely, leading to the accident. The driver received traffic tickets for both infractions and is scheduled to appear in the Town of Hanover Court at a later date.
