ALLEGANY – An Allegany teen allegedly stabbed a family member during an incident at 3436 Buffalo Rd. Monday afternoon, according to the Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office.

Triston R. Heitzinger, 19, was arrested and charged with assault in the first and second-degree, fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon, resisting arrest, and endangering the welfare of a child.

The victim was taken to Olean General Hospital by ambulance, treated and released.

The Sheriff’s office was assisted at the scene by the Village of Allegany and City of Olean Police Departments.

Heitzinger was arraigned in the Town of Allegany Court and was remanded to the Cattaraugus County Jail in lieu of $5000.00 Cash Baill $10,000 Bond.
