ORCHARD PARK – On Wednesday, Tremaine Edmunds, a linebacker for the Buffalo Bills, was named the Defensive Rookie of the Month for December.

In five games played in December, Edmunds tallied 43 tackles, four pass break-ups, and a pair of interceptions.
Being the youngest NFL player this season at 20 years old, Edmunds led the Bills defense with 121 tackles in his rookie campaign.
Edmunds was the 16th overall pick in last year’s draft out of Virginia Tech.
Edmunds’ brother, Terrell Edmunds, was also a first-round pick in last year’s draft, the first time a pair of siblings were drafted in the first-round in NFL history.
Edmunds’s father is Ferrell Edmunds, who was a two-time Pro-Bowl selection in his seven-year career with the Miami Dolphins and Seattle Seahawks.
