STAFFORD, N.Y. – A Stafford man was arrested Friday after he allegedly directed a laser at an aircraft the previous day, according to the New York State Police.

On Thursday, troopers responded to the Town of Bergen for a call from Rochester Airport Traffic Control Office on behalf of the National Guard Air Wing for a military helicopter being directed by a laser during night training.

Kevin Pietrzykowski, 63, of Stafford, is charged with second-degree directing a laser at an aircraft.
