Cassadaga Man Allegedly Places Victim In Headlock During Dispute

SINCLAIRVILLE – A Cassadaga man allegedly placed a female in a headlock during a domestic disturbance Thursday at a village residence, according to New York State Police.

Michael Austin, 38, also allegedly broke a cell phone during the dispute.

In addition, Austin was allegedly in possession of methamphetamine and a Subutex pill during his arrest.











Austin is charged with criminal obstruction of breathing or blood circulation, fourth-degree criminal mischief and two counts of seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance.

Austin was processed at SP Jamestown and transported to the Chautauqua County Jail, pending arraignment.
