MAYVILLE – The Mayville DMV will not be open tomorrow as originally scheduled as most snowmobile trails will reportedly not be open.
Chautauqua County Clerk Larry Barmore made the announcement Friday afternoon.
Barmore said that the Chautauqua Lake Snowmobile Club told his office that will definitely not be open because of the trails being too wet.
Other clubs will reportedly be open, but there’s so much water on the trails that it will probably be impossible to open.
If snowy conditions continue, the trails should be opened by next weekend.
