OLEAN – New York State Police have charged an Olean man with aggravated DWI and said he recorded a BAC of twice the legal limit.
On Sunday, Troopers arrested Aaron R. Tierson, 36, for aggravated driving while intoxicated – BAC of more than 0.18%, aggravated driving while intoxicated, prior conviction in the previous 10 Years, and aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle.
During a traffic stop on Buffalo Street in Olean, Tierson was exhibiting obvious signs of intoxication, Troopers said. He allegedly failed standardized field sobriety tests at the scene.
