JAMESTOWN – An Ellicottville man is charged with second-degree menacing and endangering the welfare of a child following an incident involving a knife Tuesday afternoon at 362 E. 4th St., according to the Jamestown Police Department.

Anthony D. Burris, 28, allegedly menaced a male victim with a knife prior to a fight between the two.

Police said that a juvenile female was in the vehicle that Burris was driving, and the female was reportedly crying and screaming during the incident.

Burris was taken to Jamestown City Jail to await arraignment.
