NYSP Responded To Thousands Of Crashes, Issue Hundreds Of Tickets During Last Week’s Storm

WESTERN NEW YORK – New York State Police report they responded to nearly 1,100 motor vehicle crashes during last week’s snowstorm.

Troopers said they responded to 1,096 crashes during the storm; 81 of those crashes resulted in injuries, including three fatalities.

Additionly, New York State Police responded to 1,528 disabled or abandoned vehicles.











Troopers also said they issued just over 600 travel ban tickets during the snow event.
