Grand Jury Indicts Man For Attempted Murder In January Drive-By Shooting

MAYVILLE – A Chautauqua County Grand Jury has indicted a man on attempted murder charges following a drive-by shooting Jan. 30 at North Main and West Ninth streets, according to Jamestown Police.

Rasul N. Bonds, 30, no address listed, was indicted by the grand jury on three counts of attempted murder and one count of first degree assault.

Police said one man was shot in the face and was seriously injured as he was walking with two other people.


Bond was remanded to the Chautauqua County Jail in lieu of $150,000 bail or $300,000 property bond.

Police said the investigation continues and more arrests are expected.
