JAMESTOWN – The Chautauqua Area Regional Transit System, CARTS, will be offering free fixed route rides on Saturday.

Chautauqua County Department of Public Facilities Director Brad Bently told WNYNewsNow the buses will be running in Jamestown and Dunkirk area.

“Take advantage of the CARTS promotion for Saturday service during the Presidents’ Day weekend and go shopping, visit a friend, or have lunch at one of the many restaurants located on our fixed city routes,” said Bentley. “This promotion will help CARTS understand the needs of our customers as the County looks to expand our service days and times in the coming year.”

Operating hours include:

  • Lakewood and Falconer, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
  • Baker/Willard and Southwest Express/North Main, 9:15 AM – 5:45 PM
  • Dunkirk City Fixed, 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM
