The company confirmed that it is shuttering all of its stores in the United States. Nearly 2,100 liquidation sales will start this week.
Payless is also closing its online operations. It’s the biggest closing by a single retail chain this year.
The move nearly doubles the number of retail stores set to close in 2019.
