JAMESTOWN – Jamestown Police have charged a city resident following an alleged domestic incident police say happened at 4:30 Friday morning at 213 W. Fifth St., Apt. 2.

Richard E.Pearson Jr., 41, was charged with criminal obstruction of breathing/blood circulation, second-degree unlawful imprisonment, endangering the welfare of a child and an aggravated family offense. Police said Pearson allegedly pinned his victim on the bed and allegedly choked her in front of a 12-year-old child.

Pearson was held pending arraignment in City Court.
