FREWSBURG – A Village of Frewsburg man was arrested early Wednesday morning after the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office said he threatened to kill another person while displaying a handgun.

Mark D. Boardman, 49, was arrested after deputies responded to an incident between Boardman and another unidentified subject at a village residence.

Boardman is charged with second-degree menacing, unlawful imprisonment, criminal obstruction of breathing/blood circulation, fourth-degree criminal mischief and fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon.

Deputies said Boardman was transported to the Chautauqua County Jail where he will be arraigned on the charges.
