STOCKTON – A number of prisoners traveling in a transport van on Route 380 suffered minor injuries after the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office said the van slid off the road and crashed into a ditch Wednesday night.
Deputies said the U.S. Corrections van carried multiple prisoners inside. Those hurt were taken to Brooks Memorial Hospital for further evaluation.
Investigators said Stockton and Cassadaga rescue crews assisted deputies at the scene.
