JAMESTOWN – Until Apr. 5, late registration to participate for the City Parks, Recreation, and Conservation Department of Jamestown Youth Baseball League will be accepted.
For anyone who still needs to register for the baseball season, they will take place at the office of the Parks, Recreation, and Conservation Department, which is located on the fourth floor of City Hall at 200 E. Third St., Monday-Friday.
The time-slots which registrations can be dropped off are from 8 a.m. to noon, and from 1 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Youth between the ages of seven and 12 can participate in the baseball league, and it is co-ed.
Any registered children who are seven years old will strictly play in the outfield.
The fee for city residents to participate is $5, while non-city residents have to pay $15 to register.
A rule based off of Babe Ruth League Baseball is the age determination date being Apr. 30, 2019, which means whatever the age of the players are on or before that day will be their league age for this season.
The Recreation Office can also be called for any other questions at (716) 483-7523.
