JAMESTOWN – On Wednesday, New York State Police charged a City of Jamestown man with second-degree harassment.

Troopers said Johnie Venable, 26, was charged after he allegedly harassed and, according to police, followed his victim for several months despite repeated requests to stop.

Venable is scheduled to appear in the town of Stockton Court in April to answer the charge.
