Man Allegedly Displays Machete Towards Trooper In Threatening Manner

WEST VALLEY –  A West Valley man allegedly displayed a machete towards a trooper in a threatening manner Saturday at a West Valley residence, according to the New York State Police. 

Police report they were attempting to perform a welfare check of Jonathan J. Kramer, 25, when the alleged menacing occurred.

Kramer is charged with menacing a police officer and resisting arrest.











Kramer was arrested and arraigned in Ashford Town Court, where he was remanded to the Cattaraugus County Jail in lieu of $2,500 bail or $5,000 bond.

He is scheduled to reappear in Ashford Town Court in April.
