JAMESTOWN – A City of Jamestown man was arrested late Sunday following a domestic incident in the area of Elizabeth and Allendale Avenues.

Jamestown Police said that Xander L. Finch, 19, allegedly violated an order of protection by attempting to make contact with a woman he was ordered to stay away from.

Police allege that Finch pulled his vehicle next to the female’s car and attempted to contact her by walking towards her. Finch then allegedly followed the woman for several blocks.

Officers said they arrested Finch at a King Street house without incident. Finch is charged with aggravated family offense and second-degree criminal contempt.

Finch was taken to Jamestown City Jail to await arraignment.
