WEST ELLICOTT – A wanted Jamestown woman allegedly shoplifted while in the possession of drug paraphernalia on Mar. 25 at Wegmans, according to the Ellicott Police Department.

Police said that they originally responded for a report of several people shoplifting in the store. One of the alleged shoplifters was placed into custody and taken back into the store, where she allegedly gave police a false name.

Caitlin Arnold, 26, also reportedly had two felony warrants with the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Department. Arnold was taken to Chautauqua County Jail to await arraignment on charges of petit larceny, criminally possessing a hypodermic instrument, false impersonation and the felony warrants.
