Jamestown Police Identify Victim In Fatal Vehicle Vs. Pedestrian Accident

JAMESTOWN – A 59-year-old Jamestown man died Monday as the result of a vehicle versus pedestrian accident at 5:56 a.m. on East Fifth Street at Prendergast Avenue, according to the Jamestown Police Department. 

Kent R. Norgren reportedly passed away at UPMC Hamot from injuries that he sustained from being struck. The Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Department Accident Reconstruction Unit is conducting the investigation.

According to police, no charges have been filed against the driver and the investigation remains ongoing.
