NEW YORK STATE – Voters in New York State are in favor of banning plastic bags, according to a new Sienna poll.

The poll found that most voters support the plastic bag ban recently passed by the state legislature.

Some people believe it will be good for the state.

The voters surveyed also approved of making the two percent local property tax cap permanent and eliminating cash bail for misdemeanors and non-violent felonies.

On the other hand, the poll found more than half of the voters opposed Governor Andrew Cuomo’s pay raise.

The poll also found that most New Yorkers oppose the ban on the public release of police mug shots.
