JAMESTOWN – A Jamestown woman was charged by Jamestown Police after she allegedly tried to strike a wheelchair-bound victim with his prosthetic leg at 11:27 p.m. Thursday at 109 Lakeview Ave.

Christine Barnhart, 52, of Jamestown, was charged with third-degree menacing and taken to the Jamestown Jail pending arraignment.

Police said the incident became physical and they had to separate the parties.
