JAMESTOWN – A warrant check by Jamestown Police at 9:41 p.m., Friday, at 185 Cole Ave., resulted in a Jamestown man being charged as a wanted fugitive from justice.

Joseph P.Pratt, 31, Jamestown, was charged with being a felony fugitive from justice. Police said he was wanted on a retail theft warrant out of Pennsylvania.

Pratt was also charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. Police said he had a suboxone strip with him in jail. He was jailed pending arraignment.
