Jamestown Police Still Seek Information In Hit-And-Run

JAMESTOWN – Jamestown Police said they are still seeking information on the hit-and-run personal injury accident that occurred in front of UPMC Chautauqua on Foote Avenue Apr. 16, where a pedestrian was struck as they crossed through a crosswalk.

Police said the vehicle is a 2009-2012 Toyota Rav 4, color being silver or gray. Investigators have recovered a piece of the suspect vehicle from the scene.


The victim reportedly sustained a serious leg injury as a result of the incident and will likely have to undergo a lengthy recovery.

Tipsters can be eligible for a reward from Buffalo Crime Stoppers for a tip that leads to an arrest and conviction.
