Jamestown Police Locate Vehicle Involved In Hit-And-Run, Charges Pending Against Driver

JAMESTOWN – Jamestown Police announced Tuesday that investigators have located the vehicle and operator from the hit-and-run accident that occurred on April 16 outside of UPMC Chautauqua on Foote Avenue. 

Police said that charges are pending against the driver, and the vehicle is being impounded. In addition, police said details on the charges will be released once charges are placed.

The vehicle was located after a tip came into a law enforcement officer from an area agency who contacted Jamestown Police Department. Jamestown Police is thanking everyone for the tips and efforts that were put forth in the community.
