JAMESTOWN – The sun is back out in full force for this Monday with above average temperatures to start a new work week.
Temperatures today will spike into the lower 70’s for most areas across the Southern Tier with the exception of the immediate Lake Erie shoreline, who will stay into the 60’s thanks to west-southwest wind.
Rain showers back to our west in the upper Great Lakes are moving our direction but with dry air in place across the area, most of that rain should not make it across Lake Erie. We will start to get into some rain showers tonight but those showers will be widely spaced and not everyone will get wet.
Showers will linger into Tuesday but much like tonight, those showers will be widely spaced and not everyone will see a shower.
Temperatures return below average for the weekend with some party sunshine on Saturday and few scattered showers on Sunday.
