JAMESTOWN – A Village of Forestville woman is accused of receiving almost $20,000 in unentitled SNAP and child care benefits.

Krista Miller, 48, is charged with third-degree welfare fraud, first-degree offering a false instrument for filing, misuse of food stamps and third-degree grand larceny.

Investigators with the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office alleged that from December 01, 2010 through August 31, 2016 Miller failed to notify the Chautauqua County Department of Health and Human Services that she had income/employment and she was also receiving child support.

This allegedly allowed Miller to receive $15,228 in unentitled SNAP and $4,531 in unentitled child care benefits.

Miller is scheduled to appear in the City of Jamestown at a later date.
