JAMESTOWN – New York State Police have charged a Jamestown man after responding to a complaint Wednesday that he was allegedly stalking a woman.

Tyler Pellerino, 26, was charged with second-degree aggravated harassment and two counts of fourth-degree stalking.
Troopers said the victim claimed that in the past week, Pellerino had sent her more than 70 text messages and called her more than 30 times, despite being advised to discontinue future contact by herself and the Jamestown Police Department.
Troopers said further investigation revealed that Pellerino had driven by the victim’s residence and residences of her family members on several occasions for no legitimate purpose.
Pellerino was placed under arrest, processed at State Police Jamestown and transported to the Chautauqua County Jail, pending arraignment.
