Jamestown Man Charged With Promoting Prison Contraband In County Jail

MAYVILLE – An inmate at the Chautauqua County Jail has been charged after allegedly being found in possession of a controlled substance.

Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Deputies said that on Thursday, Michael J. Pollaro, 33, was found to be in possession of a controlled substance while in custody.

Pollaro was subsequently charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and second-degree promoting prison contraband. Pollaro will answer the charges in the Town of Chautauqua Court at a later date.
