JAMESTOWN – A Jamestown Police vehicle stop on North Main Street at Marvin Parkway at 9:49 a.m. Sunday led to the arrest of a man for allegedly violating a stay away order.

Timothy D. Snyder, 38, was charged with first-degree criminal contempt and an aggravated family offense.

Police said the passenger in his vehicle was the person he was ordered to stay away from.

He was remanded to City of Jamestown Jail pending arraignment.
