CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY – The county’s unemployment rate fell last month.
According to data released by the New York State Department of Labor Tuesday, the jobless rate fell 4.3% last month.
Those figures are down almost a whole percent from this time last month.
The stats remained higher than the statewide rate which stayed at 3.9%.
Officials said that April’s unemployment in all 62 counties was lower than they were last year at this time as well.
