
JAMESTOWN- A picture perfect Friday will give way to a unsettled weekend once again. Neither day will be a total wash out, with each day of the weekend seeing a 50 to 60 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms.
High pressure has built into the area today from the northwest. If you have any outdoor activities, today is your day. Sun filled skies will be the theme, with temperatures in the lower 70’s inland and a bit cooler near the lakeshore with a west wind. Get outside and enjoy the nice weather!
Another Low pressure system will move in over night and into the weekend. Temperatures tonight will be in the mid 50’s with rain showers developing by morning.
Saturday will be mostly cloudy with rain showers and thunderstorms possible with temperatures in the lower 70’s. It will not be a total washout, as some dry time will be mixed in however, don’t expect much sunshine.
More rain and cooler temperatures arrive for Sunday. Temperatures will only be in the upper 50’s.
As we head into next week, the sunshine will return. Although a cooler temperature pattern will take shape. Temperatures will struggle to make it into the lower 60’s early in the week. Average temperatures for this time of year are normally in the low 70’s.
