DALLAS – The Jamestown Rebels used their first pick (Round 2, 35th overall) of the 2019 NAHL Draft on Cooper Swift, a defenseman from West Hartford, CT. 

At 6’2″ and 185 pounds, Swift played the last three years for Choate Rosemary, a private school located in Wallingford, Ct..

In his career for the Wild Boars, Swift appeared in 96 games, scoring seven goals, and tallying 20 assists.

Swift also played for the Connecticut Wolfpack 14U in the East Coast Elite League 14 (ECEL14), the Connecticut Wolfpack 16 in the Atlantic Youth Hockey League 16 (AYHL16), and the Springfield Rifles 16 in the Elite 9 Hockey League (E9HL16.)

The Rebels have the most picks of any team this year with 16.
