JAMESTOWN – High pressure has built in across Western New York and Northwestern Pennsylvania and that High isn’t going anywhere over the next few days.
After some early morning clouds, the sun will shine nice and bright through the afternoon. Temperatures will range from the mid 60’s at the immediate Lake Erie shoreline to the upper 70’s well inland.
With clearing skies overnight, that will allow temperatures to slip back into the upper 40’s to lower 50’s across the area. Very comfortable sleeping weather.
Saturday will be even warmer with another dosage of solar radiation. Most areas should make it into the lower 80’s with the exception of the Lake Erie shore. While the warmth will come up, the humidity will stay down leading to a near perfect day.
Another rinse and repeat weather day is in the cards for Sunday with temps remaining in the upper 70’s to lower 80’s. The humidity will come up just a tick through the day but all in all, another fantastic day.
We will begin to reintroduce showers and storms back into the area on Monday as another Low passes west of the region in the Upper Great Lakes. The day will not be a total washout however as the rain coverage will be on-again, off-again.
Temperatures will fall back below average Tuesday through Thursday of next week as the upper air pattern favors a cooler trend aloft across the Northeast.
