JAMESTOWN – A City of Jamestown woman is facing charges after police said she violated an order of protection Thursday at a Broadhead Avenue house.

Toni A. Schnars, 27, is charged with first-degree criminal contempt and aggravated family offense.

Jamestown Police said that Schnars violated an order of protection while visiting a Broadhead Avenue house. Officers said they found the woman hiding in a basement when they arrived.

Police said Schnars was taken to Jamestown City Jail pending arraignment.
