Trial For Man Charged In Jamestown Rape Rescheduled

MAYVILLE – The trial for a Conewango man charged in connection with a Jamestown rape has been scheduled, a Chautauqua County Court Clerk told WNYNewsNow Thursday. 

Jury selection will begin Aug. 6 for Dennis L. Park, Jr., 34, charged with charged with first-degree rape and two counts of first-degree criminal sexual act. The trial was previously adjourned after it was scheduled to start earlier this month.

Park is accused of sexually assaulting a woman at knife-point during an incident last July on Marion Street in the City of Jamestown.











Park previously served time in the Gowanda Correctional Facility for first-degree rape, according to the New York State Correctional Database.
