
UPDATE: Jamestown Police said investigators have recovered two guitars, two iPads, and the hard drives that were reported stolen in the burglary. Investigators are still seeking info on the additional property that is still missing.
JAMESTOWN – A monetary reward is being offered for the safe return of a number of electronics stolen from the 10,000 Maniacs.
Jamestown Police said a 27” i-Mac Computer, six i-pad mini tablets engraved with ’10,000 Maniacs’ and individual band member names, two external hard drivers, a black and pink Fender Stratocaster Guitar, a Dan Electro Guitar, a Fender Squire J. Guitar and a kick peddle storage bag are all believed to have been stolen for an undisclosed downtown location where the band practices.
Police said the estimated value of all the equipment is around $7,000.
Police said a representative from the band is offering a monetary reward for anyone who may have acquired the stolen property. The band simply asks that it is returned to them. Police said the band will not press charges against the alleged theft.
Jamestown Police said the burglary happened sometime between Friday, June 28 and Monday, July 1.
