MAYVILLE – The annual Mayville Independence Day parade kicked off a day of celebration in the village Thursday.
The parade, traveling down Rt. 394 at 10 a.m., is followed by a day of activities, events, food and live music at Lakeside Park.
Just 12 hours later at 10 p.m. a fireworks display and the annual tradition of flares around the lake will take place in the village.
