JAMESTOWN – It’s another day of the muggies with typical afternoon widely-spaced showers and storms. Some relief is on the way over the weekend as a Cold front is pushed through the region.
With the high amounts of humidity in the air and the early sunshine we had across the area, will be just enough to fuel scattered showers and thunderstorms through the afternoon. These storms will pop up and will fall apart at random times throughout the peak heating hours of the day.
Keep in mind that with this type of convection, thunderstorm development is very scattered. The one’s who do get a storm could see a tropical-like downpour while others will see absolutely nothing at all.
Saturday will be the better chance for rain in over coverage area as a Cold front approaches Western New York. This front will not only drop the temperatures, but the humidity as well.
Sunday through Wednesday is looking nice and dry with lots of sunshine and seasonable temperatures. We introduced a few showers and storms back into the picture on Thursday.
