20-Year-Old Arrested Following Violent Domestic Dispute

JAMESTOWN – A 20-year-old Jamestown man was arrested following a violent domestic dispute at a Baker Street residence Sunday.

Jamestown Police allege Justin A. Conklin, restrained a victim not allowing them to leave and applied pressure to the victim’s throat causing them to have breathing issues.

Police said they found the victim attempted to call 911 but Conklin allegedly took the person’s cell phone away.


Additionally, police said Conklin had a valid order of protection to refrain from offensive contact against the victim.

Police said Conklin was taken to city jail without incident.
