Valve Work Causing Discolored Water In Western Part Of BPU Territory

JAMESTOWN – Board of Public Utilities officials are warning customers their water may be discolored due to valve work on Harrison Street.

BPU Communications Coordinator Rebecca Robbins says customers in downtown Jamestown will likely see discolored water for 12 to 14 hours.

Additionally, BPU water customers west of downtown to the Ahsville/North Harmony area could also see discoloration.


Officials advise customers to not wash laundry until their water appears clear.
