Jamestown Man Charged In Overnight Shooting

JAMESTOWN – A Jamestown man is charged after he allegedly shot at a vehicle multiple times in the area of 52 Liberty St. Tuesday evening, according to the Jamestown Police Department.

Police said they determined that Nathaniel D. Hollins, Jr., 28, was the alleged shooter. In addition, police reportedly located and recovered the suspected handgun used in the shooting in a nearby backyard.

Hollins was arrested on charges of second-degree criminal possession of a weapon, second-degree criminal use of a firearm and first-degree reckless endangerment. Police said Hollins is a convicted felon and doesn’t possess a New York State pistol permit.

No injuries were reported during the shooting.
