Jamestown Man Allegedly Assaults Victim With Belt

JAMESTOWN – A Jamestown man was charged by Jamestown Police after he was allegedly involved in a fight at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday at Potters Alley near Fifth Street.

Patrick Roberts, 35, no address given, was charged with second-degree assault and remanded to the City Jail pending arraignment.

Police said they responded to a report of a fight at the location. Investigation revealed that Roberts allegedly struck another man with a belt several times, causing injuries. Police added Roberts was found at a nearby address and arrested without incident.
