JAMESTOWN – A local soup kitchen will hold a golf tournament fundraiser later this month to raise money for their charitable activities.

St. Susan Center’s soup kitchen, in collaboration with Jamestown Mattress, will hold their ninth Annual Charity Golf Tournament Sunday, July 28th at the Chautauqua Golf Club.

The four-player scramble tournament’s entry fee is $85.00 for non-members of Chautauqua Golf Club or $65.00 for members of Chautauqua Golf Club. Center officials said all proceeds go directly to the center.

“By playing in the tournament, being a hole sponsor, or remembering a loved one with a memorial sign, you can partner with St. Susan Center in feeding our neighbors in need,” said Bonny Scott-Sleight, St. Susan Center’s Executive Director. “Last year we were able to serve 111,851 meals due to the proceeds from events like this.”

Registration forms are available online at stsusancenter.org or by calling the center at 716-664-2253.

Forms are due by July 24 and can be mailed to St. Susan Center at 31 Water Street in Jamestown.

Following play golfers will be offered beef on weck, grilled chicken sandwiches, pasta salad, baked beans, watermelon, and a ice cream sundae bar.

A 50/50 raffle, gift basket raffles and door prizes will also be available.
