Man Charged With Burglary, Harassment

JAMESTOWN – A City of Jamestown man is facing burglary and harassment charges after police said he stole a knife from a Crescent Street house Friday evening.

Juan Carlos-Rodriguez, 24, was arrested after police said he was running with a knife in the area of Crescent and Winsor Streets.

Police said Carlos-Rodriguez allegedly entered a person’s house, grabbed a knife from their kitchen and shoved the victim to the ground before fleeing on foot.











Carlos-Rodriguez was taken into custody hours after the alleged incident when police located his vehicle during a traffic stop.

Carlos-Rodriguez is charged with first-degree criminal contempt, aggravated family offense, second-degree burglary, petit larceny and second-degree harassment.
