JAMESTOWN – A City of Jamestown man is facing a number of charges after he allegedly tried to fight people at the Wine Cellar, 309 N. Main St., Friday at 12:26 a.m.

Jamestown Police said Nathan M. King, 21, allegedly attempted to fight with bar staff after he was asked to leave the establishment.

While police attempted to place King under arrested, they said he took off running.

Following a short foot pursuit and struggle, King was taken into custody.

King is charged with disorderly conduct, resisting arrest and obstructing governmental administration.

Police said King was taken to Jamestown City Jail pending arraignment in the case.
