August Begins Nice And Comfortable With Lots Of Sun And Lower Humidity

JAMESTOWN – High pressure building across the region will provide for a nice mainly dry stretch of comfortable weather. Very limited chances of rain will be possible for Friday and Saturday afternoon.

Thursday is setting up to be a picture perfect mid summer day. Sun filled skies with temperatures near 80. Tonight is day 2 of the Gerry Rodeo. It will be partly cloudy overnight with temperatures in the upper 50’s overnight. Some fog will develop in the late night hours.

Friday will be mainly dry across most of the region. However there is a slight risk for a shower or thunderstorm in the afternoon across the Southern Tier and Northwestern PA. Otherwise it will be dry with temperatures in the lower 80’s. Humidity will remain comfortable.

Both weekend days are looking good. Both days will see plenty of sunshine with temperatures near 80 both days. There will be a very small chance of a shower on Saturday.

The rodeo will continue both Friday and Saturday Evening. Both evenings are looking good. A passing shower or thunderstorm for the event on Friday is possible. Lows both nights in the upper 50’s.
